Adjust the tools, do rough sketch first, put a layer over that and do cleaner sketch, then put a layer under the line art and do the colors.

Tristane's backstory is finally emerging... she is the product of a CF-18 woman's one-night-stand with a Phantom. She was brought up by her mother in Quebec and went to the States to seek work, eventually winding up as a door girl at the Conelrad club. She's famous for swearing fluently in both of Canada's official languages.
