Touch FX, a Russian animation studio, is producing a series, Ot Vinta 3D, which has -- you guessed it -- anthro-planes as its main cast. It's an admirable effort, but not without problems.

The whole shebang is also there, if you look.
Look at the characters, especially the male lead, Knight, and you'll see what I'm talking about. I think he has a lot of appeal, but taking the time to make his face more expressive and focusing his eyes would make a real difference for this guy.

I've just seen this movie today. It was bad but way better than I expected and better than most of the mockbusters out there. Knight(he was called Maverick in the German version) was kinda cute but I agree that his expressions weren't well done. He was smiling at the worst possible times lol. Yeah...the movie had its problems but for a mockbuster...it's good. I was sorta entertained by it.
