Siddeley Feels the Burn

This woodburning thing is addictive... Working in comics and as a street artist has basically programmed me for speed... "SPEED... I AM SPEED!" Woodburning forces me to slow down and think, which is good once in a while. I decided to give Siddeley the pyrography treatment, and added a background reminiscent of the upper Saint John river valley, which is pretty much my backyard. Tools used: Walnut Hollow detailer and Wall Lenk woodburner with temperature control, on a plywood plaque from Wal-Mart (I suspect the top layer is birch by the look of the grain) Siddeley belongs to Pixar, of course. He's going up on my wall.
